Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“the customer”) and Metrik Moves (“we”, “us”, or “our”) when booking or using our services. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Bookings & Quotations
- All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive written or verbal confirmation from us.
- Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on the information provided by you. Any changes to the scope of work may result in revised pricing.
2. Cancellations & Amendments
- We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover lost time and resources.
- We reserve the right to reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, vehicle breakdowns, or staff illness.
3. Payments
- Payment must be made on or before the completion of the service unless agreed otherwise.
- We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
- Late payments may incur interest or fees.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring parking is available at both collection and delivery locations. Any penalties incurred due to unavailable or illegal parking will be charged to you.
- All items must be packed and ready for transport unless you have arranged for our packing services.
- It is your responsibility to inform us of any fragile, high-value, or heavy items before the move.
5. Liability & Insurance
- We take all reasonable care when handling your items, but we are not liable for damage to items that were not packed by us.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by wear and tear, defective packaging, or items of exceptional fragility.
- Basic goods-in-transit insurance is included. Additional cover can be arranged upon request.
6. Exclusions
We do not transport the following unless agreed in writing:
- Hazardous materials or illegal substances
- Perishable goods
- Pets or live animals
- Items requiring specialist equipment or handling without prior agreement
7. Delays & Access Issues
- We are not responsible for delays outside our control, including traffic, road closures, or delays caused by third parties.
- If access is limited or delayed at either property, additional time charges may apply.
8. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse, withdraw, or terminate our services at any point if there is abuse, unreasonable behaviour, or unsafe working conditions.
